Raspberry Pi: How to install sslstrip

If you want to install sslstrip to your Rapsberry Pi Raspbian Wheezy it’s pretty simple and quick. If you don’t know do you need sslstrip you probably don’t need it =)

You need to do this to install it (You need working internet connection to download it):

wget http://www.thoughtcrime.org/software/sslstrip/sslstrip-0.9.tar.gz
tar zxvf sslstrip-0.9.tar.gz
cd sslstrip-0.9.tar.gz
python ./setup.py install

First we download sslstrip package with wget, then extract it to directory and then install it from there.

If you get his kind of lines when you run sslstrip:

File "/usb/usr/bin/sslstrip", line 27, in <module>
    from twisted.web import http

Try if this helps because it helped for me:

apt-get install python-twisted-web

On my Raspberry Pi I didn’t have that installed so it’s probably not something what comes with default Raspbian Wheezy.

    It’s perfect this toutorial, but there is a wrong:
    isn’t cd sslstrip-0.9.tar.gz
    but cd sslstrip-0.9

    For the rest is perfect ;)
